But most of the settings are automatic and I think a lot of the complaints about having to tweak it are based on a much older version of Vorpx, or it’s just people reiterating what they’ve heard without personal experience. I know VorpX has a mixed reputation, but if you are interested at all in playing non-native games in VR, its an incredible tool. F1 2020 is fully supported by VorpX, so you dont need to do anything to make it work. I’ve run into the occasional hiccough, like with Bioshock I think there’s an issue regarding which version you use or with which dx version. VorpX - 40 VorpX is the program that can make a traditional 2D game render in stereoscopic 3D in a VR headset. ![]() ![]() My experience has generally been pretty smooth with the main drawback being that the graphics will not be as crisp as playing on a monitor. I have found that aiming with my head is a lot more enjoyable than trying to aim with a gamepad, so that is an added benefit vs playing a game in virtual desktop with a gamepad. ![]() I’ve played through Fallout 3, Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite, Prey and the Outer Worlds (also Witcher 3 but it’s third person so not as impressive.) Playing through New Vegas now and it’s very smooth. It’s been well worth it to me with some hassle here and there but not a lot. ![]()
